Adventure Comics #308 features the origin and first appearance of Lightning Lass, one of the most important female members of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The issue also contains the first appearance of Proty and an appearance by Lex Luthor. Legion keys from the Silver Age have gained renewed attention from collectors seeking historically significant DC first appearances.
