A fantastic Golden Age Timely issue featuring one of Alex Schomburg's classic action-packed bondage covers.

Published in January 1946, Marvel Mystery Comics #68 features the Human Torch and Toro battling a gang of criminals on Schomburg's elaborate cover. Inside are stories featuring several cornerstone Timely characters, including Human Torch, Toro, Sub-Mariner, Miss America, the Patriot and the Angel. The issue also includes early artwork by Carmine Infantino.

This copy is graded CGC 7.0 Fine/Very Fine with Cream to Off-White Pages. CGC notes a minor amount of color touch on the spine of the cover. Importantly, the holder shown is a Universal blue label, not a restored-label copy, so I would describe the color touch exactly as CGC does rather than characterize the book as restored.

For Golden Age collectors, this issue offers a particularly appealing combination of Timely Comics, Human Torch, Sub-Mariner and a desirable Schomburg bondage/torture cover.
